- How to facilitate intentional consultations that cultivate client-stylist trust
- Foundational cutting techniques to help you customize every curly cut
- Demo of how to craft custom curly cut on live model
- Demo of how to cleanse and condition curly hair in a way that leads to better styling results and enhances hair health
- How to style curls for long-lasting definition, maximum volume, or a combination of both
- Drying and finishing techniques to elevate your styling results
- Q & A throughout
Lunch/refreshments will be provided, but feel free to bring your own snacks.
About the educator:
Camille Janae is the founder of Mahogany & Rose Hair Studio in Sacramento, CA. Her salon was voted one of Sacramento's favorite hair salons in Sacramento Bee's 2023 Favorites. She has educated and coached stylists all over the U.S. and from over 10 countries globally. She has been featured in InStyle magazine, HuffPost, Refinery 29, and ABC 10 (twice). Camille was also on the Curl Stylist Panel for Curl Magazine in 2021 and styled for the cover of their August 2022 No. 16 issue.
She is dedicated to providing comprehensive education on curly hair to stylists who are eager to learn. She's passionate about impacting an increase in the number of salons and stylists who can confidently serve clients with curly hair and locs with intention and mindfulness.
